is supported by the Flexible Film Recycling Group (FFRG) of the American Chemistry Council. The FFRG's goal is to double plastic film recycling to two billion pounds by 2020. To achieve this goal, the FFRG works to increase access to and participation in plastic film recycling for both consumers and businesses.

Who We Are

The FFRG represents the entire polyethylene (PE) value chain, from major resin producers, manufacturers, recyclers, and brand owners. To view a full list of our member companies, visit the Sponsors & Partners page.

How We Support Plastic Film Recycling

The FFRG’s hallmark initiative, the Wrap Recycling Action Program (WRAP), is a national public awareness and outreach program designed to empower motivated stakeholders to contribute to a common goal: to make plastic film packaging a commonly recycled material with a strong and ever-growing recycling rate.

The FFRG supports the How2Recycle label, a standardized labeling system on packaging that clearly communicates recycling instructions to the consumer. It involves a coalition of forward thinking brands who want their packaging to be recycled and are empowering consumers through smart packaging labels.
